Bespoke Floral Styling

Floral design should feel personal and considered, a reflection of the people it’s created for.

How It All Began

With over 15 years of experience in floral design, my journey began in Glasgow, where I worked with two well established florists, honing my skills and developing a deep appreciation for weddings and the art of floral styling. After years in the city, I returned to my hometown in Ayrshire with a vision of building something of my own, a creative studio rooted in personal connection, thoughtful design, and a love for celebrating life’s most meaningful moments.

Having both my parents working in self-employment, creating my own business always felt like a natural path and one that would allow me to shape a career that was both creatively fulfilling and personally grounded.

I trained in floristry at college and have continued to evolve my style ever since, drawing inspiration from both timeless elegance and the unique details each couple brings to their day. My approach is modern yet classic, always elegant, and never one-size-fits-all. I believe every wedding should feel like a reflection of the people at the heart of it.

What sets my work apart is the way I approach each design as a story, I take the time to understand what’s important to my clients, including their favourite blooms or anything with sentimental value, so I can weave those into their day in a way that feels truly personal.

There’s something incredibly special about bringing a couple’s vision to life, transforming a space with flowers that reflect their style, their energy, and their love. It’s a privilege to be trusted with that, and I never take it for granted.

The Studio Today

Since establishing Paperwhite Floral Design in my hometown of Troon, I’ve been proud to offer bespoke floral styling for weddings, events, and a select number of private and corporate clients across Scotland.

The studio is rooted in a refined, design-led approach, where thoughtful service, exceptional blooms and quiet creativity come together to shape something truly personal. Whether I’m designing an intimate bridal bouquet or styling a full venue, I approach each project with care, intention and an eye for elegant detail.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working in some of Scotland’s most iconic venues, from romantic lochside hotels to grand city spaces, creating floral work that feels not only beautiful, but connected to the people and places it’s designed for.

From lush ceremony flowers to carefully curated tablescapes, every element is composed to reflect your vision and elevate your setting with style, purpose, and quiet confidence.

If you feel drawn to my work and would like to explore how we might work together, I’d be delighted to hear from you.

In Bloom & In Person

Rooted in Ayrshire, designing florals with intention, elegance & care.

There’s something special about stepping away from emails and inspiration boards and sitting down together.
At my studio in Troon, Ayrshire, I invite couples to meet in person, to share ideas, explore seasonal blooms and begin shaping a floral design that captures the spirit of their day.  These relaxed and personal consultations are more than planning sessions, they are a moment to pause, to dream, and to bring your vision to life, thoughtfully, collaboratively and with intention.
